As a child growing up in Fredericksburg, the heart of the Texas Hill Country, Miles always had both a knack and passion for writing. This love for storytelling later evolved into a fascination with fiction and non-fiction podcasts alike, such as Cool Zone Media’s Behind the Bastards, Rusty Quill’s The Magnus Archives, and Sarah Marshall’s You’re Wrong About.

Miles is currently the Dialogue Editor for the podcast RADIO: Outcast and an Account Coordinator at the insurance broker Marsh. They previously served as a producer and sound engineer for The Drag podcast Story Submarine, which worked with individual authors and the Texas Book Festival to transform original children’s books into audio adventures.

They graduated summa cum laude from The University of Texas at Austin in Spring 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and minor in sociology. They are also a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

While Miles specializes in audio storytelling, they are also adept at videography and journalistic writing, including short documentaries, data stories, and features.

In their spare time, Miles can be found watching and reviewing films on Letterboxd and taking their mini Aussies, Sundance and Daphne, on hikes.
